Depicted as the ideal human being in all the roles of his life, Rama is the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. He is very epitome of perfection: the perfect son, the ideal ruler, a loving brother, a good husband, and a noble enemy, who consist Ely puts duty above all else, even his personal liking and disliking, Many believe that Rama did exit history as one of the successful kings of Ayodhya. Born as the son of the Dashratha, Rama faced many trials and tribulations, and was successful in over coming all of them. His life and activities are detailed in Ramayana. The eldest son of the Dasharatha, Rama readily agreed to spend 14 years in exile as demanded by his stepmother, Kaikeyi. Kaikeyi once saved Dashratha life, nursing him back to health. Pleased with her dedication, he had asked her to ask two wishes from him which he had readily grant. She had told him that she will take her two wishes when the time came. So, when Rama’s coronation was announced, she demanded that firstly, Rama be banished for 14 years in the forest, and Bharat, her son be made the king. While everyone was aghast and shattered, Rama agreed cheerfully and along with his younger brother and with his wife, left the kingdom to spend the next 14 year in the forest. Here , they came face to face with Shoopanakha, a demons, and Ravana, the King of Lanka’s sister. She admired Rama ever since they had entered forest , and finally she changed her shape into that of beautiful woman, and approached Rama and proposed to him. Rama politely refused, saying that he was married and was accompanied by his wife Sita. She annoyed this refusal, then charged at Sita with the intention of killing her, when Laxman intervened and sliced off her nose.
